Courtney and I are balancing ourselves on the runners as we head toward the lake. The dogs attempt to follow Jeff, but are distracted by another path leading off to the right. They attempt to go that path instead but Buckey waves them toward the lake for us. Our sled doesn't get back onto the path as soon as it should and we go up a snow embankment. Courtney and I are thrown from the sled and the sled turns over on its side. The dogs don't stop - they keep going, pulling the sled.

Court and I have to chase and catch up with them, turn the sled back upright and jump back on the runners (all this while the dogs are still pulling!) This sled is packed down with all of our gear so it's not all that light. Running in deep snow with all of your snow clothes on isn't easy.
