| Court and I noticed that our right runner on the sled
was tilted inward just a little. We thought it was causing a little
extra drag. Eventually, it got worse and worse and we had to stop
the entire caravan and have Jeff do some maintenance on it. When they
got the sled repaired, Duncan came to ride along with me and Courtney
went back to ride with Terri. We realized that since our sled was
"crippled" it would be best if Terri rode with Duncan and I went back
with Courtney.
This sled was also handicapped in the fact that the handle had been broken in the past and was taped together in the middle. It kept getting worse and worse. Courtney and I began to get paranoid. Maybe we were going to break every sled we rode on? But we sledded on. |
