More than once, we "lost it" going down a hill. The ride wasn't always that smooth and we would sometime lose our balance and the sled would tip over. We would then be dragged down the hill on our stomachs as we tried to hang onto the sled.

One particularly memorable moment was when Courtney slipped and fell. She was hanging onto the handle with both hands as the sled dragged her along on her stomach and knees. She held on as long as she could then let go. Her glove stayed on the handle. It was a funny sight to look down and see only her glove where her hand used to be.
