We started the trip at about 11:00 and it was about 3:00 when we had hoped to reach our destination where we would set up camp. But, we were running late because of the problems with the broken sled and we stopped to eat lunch at about 3:00. We knew that we had to make camp before dark or we would be in big trouble.

After we had our bread and cheese and oranges, we all took our turns making yellow snow The girls had it the roughest. They had to actually step into the ditch behind the sled and squat (barely) in the waist deep snow.
