Is it too late to make a long story short? Ok let me hit the high spots of the rest of the trip.

We started up the dogs again and continued toward our destination. After about an hour, the already crippled sled took a dive for the worse on a bumpy downhill section. Court and I were in the rear just behind Duncan and Terri. Jeff and Dean and John and Kerri kept going, not realizing that Duncan was totally disabled.

Court and I continued on to eventually catch up with the others. They had stopped to wait on us and realized that something was wrong and decided to begin setting up camp right there in the valley.
